Unknown Worlds looking for artists for Natural Selection 2

Postby KungFuSquirrel » November 15th, 2006, 5:33 am

Straight from the grapevine:

Unknown Worlds Entertainment is looking for five talented, experienced artists to work on Natural Selection 2, the sequel to the hugely popular Half-Life modification Natural Selection.

The positions are:
- Model/Texture artists
- 3D animator
- Level designers

NS2 will be built on the Source engine, so experience with the Source SDK in all of the above fields is a bonus. Industry experience is not a requirement; we are always looking for new talent.

These are remote, part-time positions, compensated, requiring about 20 hours of work a week for a period of 6 months. Mail your resume and portfolio to jobs@unknownworlds.com.

We look forwards to hearing from you!

Just got a quick question, NS2 is going commercial right? Does this mean these are paid positions?

thats why its under "professional"

I'd apply if I thought I was good enough. I dont think I could compare to the likes of mr. KFS or many others... least on a mapping standpoint.

They pretty much said they don't really need any level designers.

I think people just expect they could muster atleast a "hell no" response or something
